Not another chatbot

It reads your documents first.

Hero EQ is retrieval-augmented (RAG): before the AI answers, it looks in your own project documents for what matters to your question.

Your documents stay on your phone

Add PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, notes, photos or scans to a project. They are read on your iPhone, and nothing is uploaded to be read.

Only the relevant passages go out

For each question the app finds the passages that match it and shows you which ones, and which AI will read them. Not this time? One tap leaves them out.

The answer shows its sources

The reply lists the documents it used, so you can check it against your own files instead of taking it on trust.

A plain chatbot answers from what it was trained on. A second brain answers from your documents.

It works in a project, for documents you switch on. Matching is by keywords, on your phone. It can miss a relevant passage, so the list shows what was chosen. Passages go to the AI you chose, or stay on the phone with Apple Intelligence.

Founder Principles

Borrow how founders decide.

A specialist in Compass that applies ideas from well-known founders' own published writing, talks and interviews, and always shows where an idea comes from.

An idea, not a voice

Answers are built on a named idea, such as Two-way doors, and written about it in the third person. The specialist never pretends to be a person.

A source for every idea

Each idea comes from something the founder published: a letter, a talk or an interview. The answer shows the source, its link and the date it was last checked.

Its limits, in plain view

Each idea shows its published counter-view, or says “No published critique found; treat as a rule of thumb.”

When nothing fits

If no idea fits your question, it says so and gives a general answer, labelled “General answer: not from a founder's published ideas.”

Every answer carries the same honest label: it is an AI applying published ideas, not a statement from the person. The ideas shown are a few examples. They are matched to your question on your phone; the question then goes to the AI you chose, like any other.

The details leaders notice

Built for the way you actually work.

Rules you set, a safety net when you slip, and exports that wait for your yes.

Rules and criteria

Write the rules that matter, like “at least 60% margin”. Every specialist checks its answer against them, and the final answer says which are met. It can miss one, so always confirm the numbers yourself.

Objections carry through

The final answer is instructed to keep any safety, legal, privacy or risk objection a specialist raises, and to say so when it conflicts with one of your rules.

Recycle bin

Deleted a chat, decision, library item or launch by mistake? It waits 30 days in the recycle bin, with Undo. Items in the bin are never sent to an AI.

Bookmarks

Bookmark chats, decisions, library items and launches, and filter your Library to bookmarked.

Drafts and exports

Word-for-word Slack and email drafts. Send a decision to Linear, Jira or Notion after you confirm.

One tap, all gone

Delete everything on your phone in one tap.

Built for confidential work

You choose where it goes.

Roadmaps, customer interviews and unreleased ideas deserve better than a shared chat window.

Your work lives on your phone, not on our servers.

Stays on this iPhone

Keep chats on this iPhone

Apple Intelligence answers on the phone. Chats are never sent to Claude. Photos and voice notes you capture still use the AI you choose.

Use your own Claude or ChatGPT key

Your message and attachments go straight from your phone to the provider you chose, under your own account. They are not stored on our servers.

When you choose Claude for an answer, your message and attachments are sent securely to Claude to produce it. With chats kept on this iPhone, they are not.
